Residual stress analysis of repair welding at different zone of Q345R welded joint based on finite element simulation

摘要

Because of its excellent properties, Q345R alloy is extensively used in the manufacture of pressure vessels and pipes. However, cracks often generate in a weldment made of this alloy for welding residual stress.Using finite element analysis software ABAQUS, a sequentially coupled welding thermal-stress procedure was developed to calculate the repair welding residual stress for different zones of Q345R welded joint. 3D repairing welding residual stress field was obtained and analyzed. The result shows that residual stress caused by repair welding increases than before, and longitudinal stress and transversal stress do not increase uniformly. The analysis from simulation results provides theoretical references for optimizing the repair welding parameters and controlling the repair welding stress.
