Synthesis and characterization of ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles on infrared radiation by xerogel with sol-gel method

摘要

A sol-gel method to synthesize and characterize ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles was reported, where the nanoparticles were synthesized by sintering the xerogel following a low-temperature drying method. The results indicated that the surface area of xerogel was 86 m2/g at the drying temperature of 170 °C, and the surface area of the ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles based on the drying temperature 170 °C was 23 m2/g at the sintering temperature of 900 °C. The molar ratio of citric acid/total metal cation (C/M) was studied in 3–5 μm. The maximum emissivity was 0.934 measured at 800 °C with the sintering temperature at 900°C for 7 h, where the C/M is 1:1.
