摘要

Lattice structures have been mostly used as a part of a larger structure, and their building direction and service direction are affected by the overall structure. This work chose the Ti6Al4V diamond lattices manufactured by laser powder bed fusion to investigate the effects of building direction and service direction on the compressive mechanical properties. The results showed, when altering the building direction and service direction simultaneously, the struts with a large service angle experienced higher levels of stress and more even stress distribution than the struts with a smaller service angle, which is a more reasonable stress distribution. As a result, the compressive mechanical properties of the Ti6Al4V diamond lattices improved. Finally, a mechanical evaluation method has been developed based on the mechanical properties of struts to assess the mechanical properties of the Ti6Al4V diamond lattices.
