Two-dimensional Ti2CTx with expanded interlayer spacing for Na-ion storage

摘要

MXenes have been regarded as promising anode materials for Na-ion batteries due to their unique layered structures. Herein, the two-dimensional Ti2CTx with expanded interlayer by intercalation of dimethyl sulfoxide is designed as anode material for Na-ion storage. The as-prepared interlayer-expanded Ti2CTx delivered an initial discharge capacity of 486 mAh g−1 and maintained a stable capacity of 176 mAh g−1 after 250 cycles at 100 mA g−1, which are much higher than those of the pristine Ti2CTx.
