Abstract

At present,the test research on the fire resistance performance of the flame arrester at home and abroad is mainly focused on the flame propagation law under a specific condition with lacking of systematic fire resistance performance test research and device development. Based on the research results of flame arrester testing at home and abroad,a set of flame arrester performance test system for petroleum gas pipeline flame arrester was designed and manufactured, a test plan was established. Thirteen sets of experiments were carried out for deflagration resistance test and detonation resistance test with test equipment respectively,during the deflagration resistance test,deflagration flames were detected in the detonation section and the average flame propagation velocity was in the deflagration stage. The flame signal was not detected in the protection section,the flame did not pass through the deflagration flame arrester. In the anti-detonation test,the flame detector in the detonation section detected that the average flame velocity reached the detonation stage and the flame could not enter the protection section through the anti-detonation flame arrester. The experimental test analysis proves that the test system can effectively and reliably test the fire suppression performance of the oil gas pipeline flame arrester.
