Abstract
Lithium-ion batteries: Improved performance of lithium storage using titanium vanadium nitride and carbon hybrid composites (see TEM images of solid-solution composites) as anode materials for lithium batteries, is demonstrated. These prove to be desirable candidates for the next-generation lithium batteries and supercapacitors.
