Abstract

A series of Fe-Mn-O complex oxides catalysts supported on cordierite are prepared by impregnation method. The structure of the catalysts is characterized by XRD and BET measurements. Catalytic performance of the catalysts is investigated by catalytic combustion of toluene. The effects of the preparation parameters including the Fe/Mn ratio, the calcinations temperature and modified carrier are studied. The results show that the catalyst with 10% load of Fe-Mn, 4/1 molar ratio of Fe/Mn, 500°C of roasting temperature and modification by γ-Al 2O 3 coating exhibits the highest catalytic performance.
