Abstract

Using solution polymerization, we have success synthesized PAM/ATP adsorbent by grafting acrylamide (AM) onto the γ-Methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane (KH-570) modified ATP (OATP). We carried out a series of experiments to find KH-570 modification of the optimal conditions. Results showed that KH-570 modification of the proper conditions is: KH-570 dosage 5ml (relative to 6g ATP), modification time 4h, modification temperature 60°C .Thermal behavior and the structure of the materials were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
