Abstract

Through the experiment, the creep law of glued laminated timber(glulam) beam under different stress ratio were analyzed, the common glulam beam and FRP-reinforced glulam beam in constant temperature and humidity conditions. The creep model of glulam were built and also the experimental data were fitted. Draw creep deflection curve and relative creep deflection curve, at last they make a prediction about the relative creep deformation in 50 years. Experiment results show that using FRP-reinforced glulam beam, the initial stiffness is improved, the initial deformation rigidity have reduced by 27%, and the relative creep deformation after 50 years have reduced by 80%.
