Abstract
A new lanthanum sulfate Na[C6H14N2] [La3(SO4)6(H2O)3] 1 has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and TGA. Structure analysis indicates that the structure of 1 features unusual three-dimensional inorganic framework constructed from La-O-S tubes and cubic cages. The Na+ plays an important role in the formation of 3-D open framework of 1.
