Abstract
The kinetic experiments on reaction of ethanol dehydration over industrial catalyst γ-Al2O3 were carried out in an isothermal fixed-bed micro-reactor excluding the effect of the internal and external diffusion. The semi-empirical kinetic model was built and the Gauss-Newton method was used to fit the experimental results. Statistical test showed that the kinetic model established here not only agreed well with the experiment results, but was highly acceptable and reliable.
