Abstract

We report a new water-soluble coumarin-ester probe Cu(II)-COET for the detection of nitroxyl (HNO), which designed on the basis of HNO-promoted reduction reaction. This work also provided an alternative method to visualize HNO in living cells and living vertebrate organisms without interference from thiols by using NEM.
