Abstract

Ammonia has a very important position in the field of the chemical industry, which directly affects the national economy and people's livelihood. However, the harsh reaction conditions of the Haber-Bosch method for ammonia synthesis used in the industry lead to huge costs and energy consumption. At the same time, the use of non-renewable fossil energy will release greenhouse gases into atmosphere and aggravate the energy crisis. Therefore, non-thermal plasma (NTP) technology has become one of the research hotspots for ammonia synthesis due to its mild reaction conditions, low cost, and wide clean raw material sources.
