Abstract
We report a facile and scalable electrospinning method for preparing porous NiO fiber material by using a carbonized carbon as the self-sacrificing template. The as-prepared NiO fibers demonstrated a good electrochemical performance as anode materials for Li-ion batteries, including high reversible capacity of approximately 638 mAh g - 1 over 50 cycles, high rate capability with a discharge capacity of 477 mAh g - 1 even at a current density of 1760 mA g - 1, and good cycling performance.
