Abstract
The alloy adopting polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber (EPDM) as main materials and chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) as compatibilizer was studied. The experimental results show that if PVC 30, EPDM 70, CPE 30, silica 30-50, dicamyl peroxide 2-3(mass ratio) and a moderate amount of auxiliary are adopted, the PVC/EPDM alloy with good properties can be prepared. Effects of different kinds of compactibilizers on PVC/EPDM alloy properties were described.
