Abstract

The electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive, comprising acrylate resin and graphite nanosheet (NanoG) as conductive filler, was prepared by solution blending method. The structures of NanoG and the electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive were characterized though scanning electron microscopy (SEM), fourier transmission infrared (FTIR) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). Results show that the NanoG had a diameter ranging 1-10μm and thickness ranging 20-80nm and homogeneously dispersed in forming conducting network in the electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive. The FTIR reveals that the hydrogen bonding was formed between pure acrylate resin and NanoG. The electrical conductivity of the electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive increased to 1.28 × 10 -2 S/cm when the content of the conductive filler was 40%. The 180° peel strength of the electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive decreased gradually with the filler content increased. While the shear strength increased when the content of the filler increased from 0% to 20%.
