Security assessment of servicing furnace tubes in environment of hydrogen with elevated temperature and pressure

Abstract

The mechanical performance,microstructure, elevated creep property, elevated short-time fracture property are studied with experimental method for serving furnace tube in the environment of hydrogen with high temperature and pressure. The results showed that the damage of serving furnace tube was not heavy relatively, it had still high security and the adequate serving life for furnace tube is about 10 years.
