Seismic performance and quantitative indexes for SRC special shaped columns

Abstract

In order to research the seismic performance levels of SRC special shaped columns, 17 specimens were tested on the PCE loading device under low reversed cyclic loading. On the basis of RC structures and SRC structures for their performance levels and failure states, five estimation scales were put forward, including normal use, temporary use, use after repaired, life safety and prevent collapse. The interlayer displacement angle was set as the performance control index, and the quantitative indexes of SRC special shaped columns under different performance levels were built via the frequency statistics analysis. By controlling the seismic damage index, the damage degrees of SRC special shaped columns under different performance levels were proposed at different failure state, and there is a one-to-one relationship between damage value and performance index. It can be provided a reference for engineering applications in the research results of SRC special shaped column structures for their seismic design based on performance.
