Abstract

The catalytic green route for producing L-Alaninol was obtained by the catalytic hydrogention from L-alanine as the starting materials using 5% of Ru-Rh/Al2O3 double-nuclear metal catalyst. The optimum of L-alaninol preparation catalyzed by the hydrogenation was 1.1 of the mol ratio between H3PO4/Zr Ala, 110°C of the temperature, 7 hours of the reaction time, 4 MPa of the H2 pressure. The converting yield of L-alanine was 96% and the enantioselectivity excess of L-alaninol was up to 99%. This method was also suitable to the other amino acids such as L-phenylanine/Zr valine, etc., with a yield of 97% e.e.
