Abstract

The M7Z3T powder was prepared by traditional solid reaction process. The effects of the addition of dispersant (PAA-NH4), pH value, solid loading of slurry, content of monomer (AM) and the ratio of monomer to coupling agent (MBAM) on rheological properties of slurries were investigated. The results showed that when pH value is 10, the dispersant content is 0.7 wt%, for the 52 vol% slurries, the initial viscosity is only 0.459 Pa·s. The best conditions were the amount of monomer 10 wt%, the ratio of monomer to coupling agent 20:1, the content of initiator 1 wt% and the polymerize temperature 60°C. The resultant green body has uniform structure and the bending strength is as high as 24.47 MPa.
