Abstract
Acetyl aromatic compounds and diacetyl aromatic compounds were synthesized conveniently by reactions of acetylation or oxidation based on aromatic compounds. All of the twelve acetyl aromatic compounds were confirmed by melting point (or boiling point) and 1H NMR. It was found that single acetylation for electron-rich aromatic compounds with multiple active positions (e. g., N-ethylcarbazole) was successfully realized by using relatively low activity of catalyst and acetylation reagent.
