摘要
This study aims at understanding the influence of inner gas addition on the explosion of mixed gases in confined space and the pressure change during explosion release. Explosion and venting experiments with different fraction of inert gas addition are conducted in a spherical vessel with vent. Results show that the explosion pressure and the increased rate of pressure rise with increasing initial gas pressure, and a linear relationship between the peak pressure and the initial pressure can be established. The peak pressure and the increased rate of pressure decrease with increasing inert gas fraction in gas mixture, and the time for reaching peak pressure is prolonged too. An approximate linear relationship between the peak pressure and the inner gas fraction in gas mixture can be established. The influence of explosion venting and inner gas on the peak pressure and the increased rate of pressure are obvious, the increased rate of pressure rises before membrane broken and drops sharply after membrane broken. When the inert gas fraction is more than 10%, the peak pressure in vessel drops immediately after membrane broken, and the explosion venting converts to balance.
